Accreditation
Edmonton People in Need Shelter Society is currently going through the accreditation process with Accreditation Canada. Accreditation Canada programs assess organizations against standards developed by the Health Standards Organization (HSO), International Standards Organization (ISO), and others. These world class standards enable organizations to provide the highest achievable quality for patients. Edmonton People in Need Shelter Society is in the beginning stages of accreditation (Primer). The Primer standards consist of:

- Client Safety
- Integrated Quality Improvement
- Safe and Healthy Worklife
- Information Management
- Physical Environment and Equipment
- Medication Management
- Infection Prevention and Control
- Safety and Appropriate Service Delivery
At Edmonton People in Need Shelter Society, we believe that to achieve the success that we are striving towards every member of our team needs to be a part of this process. As a team we will work towards our goals l aid out in our strategic plan. To achieve our goals for Client care it is imperative that every member of our team have the same goal in mind driven by our mission and values.
